About the Role

As a Payroll Coordinator, you will use your extensive payroll knowledge and advanced skills to solve complex payroll challenges. You will lead the payroll execution team and ensure all payroll activities are compliant and efficient. Your role contributes significantly to the mitigation of payroll risks and optimization of payroll processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the end-to-end India payroll process, including data collection, validation, and payroll inputs.
  • Review employee changes such as hires, terminations, salary revisions, promotions, transfers, and leave records.
  • Coordinate with payroll vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely payroll processing.
  • Validate payroll reports, identify discrepancies, and support payroll reconciliations.
  • Prepare and maintain payroll documentation, records, and audit evidence.
  • Support statutory compliance activities such as tax, social security, provident fund, pension, and other regulatory filings.
  • Assist with Full & Final (F&F) settlements for terminated employees.
  • Respond to employee payroll queries related to salary, deductions, taxes, benefits, and pay slips.
  • Support payroll system testing, enhancements, and process improvement initiatives
  • Participate in payroll audits and provide supporting documentation as required.
