This role will be responsible being part of the ASEAN HK Centre of Excellence managing full set payroll processing and supporting for 5 countries (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Hong Kong) touching approx. 1500 associates. Involve in the full cycle of payroll processing such as payroll calculation, reconciliation, generate reports, updating and managing HRIS, managing employee data in Workday (HRIS System) and other backend processes. Other responsibilities include monitoring the processing checklist and calendars, maintaining precise documentation, providing data / reports for respective statutory filing when the stipulated deadlines. The roles also include managing employee leave and benefit plan allocated for each associate.

Responsibilities

  • Handle End to End company payroll processing includes payroll calculation, commission calculation, reconciliation, generate reports, providing data / reports for respective statutory filing when the stipulated deadlines.
  • To ensure payroll datelines are met with accuracy.
  • Manage and ensures all associates database is accurate and up to date in Workday – HRIS system.
  • To prepare monthly HR reports, leave maintenance and handle claims and benefit plans.
  • Involve in compensation management, annual performance review, merit and bonus process.
  • Support on administrative role such as filing, issuing HR related letters, updating information in the system etc.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned from time to time and assist in other Human Resource functions as assigned by HOD.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, in any field of Human Resource Management, Business Studies or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 - 10 years’ relevant working experience in the related field is required for this position, however those interested in exploring the above that has the mindset and ability are welcome to apply.
  • Well versed with current HR practices and sound knowledge of local employment law in the countries we present in addition to other statutory employment requirements.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office programs and reporting tools with excellent communication and presentation skills will be added advantage.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with a character of being meticulous and results-oriented
  • Knowledge in payroll/ HRMS systems such as Workday, Excelity, Ramco will be added advantage
