About Us

The Payroll Services Department provides payroll services and related support to all employees across Alfred Health Care Group.

About the Role

The Compliance Analyst reports to the Senior Compliance Analyst. The role is crucial to ensuring payroll activities remain compliant with relevant legislation and Alfred Health (AH) Agreements.

The role will be responsible with ensuring regulatory and statutory compliance of the payroll systems, processes, and outputs.

About You

Essential

  • Strong knowledge of end-end payroll processes and associated legislative requirements
  • Understanding/knowledge of enterprise agreements
  • Hands on experience in checking difficult payroll reconciliations
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve outcomes within defined timeframes
  • Organised, analytical and problem-solving with a focus on process improvement
  • High level of awareness to maintain integrity and confidentiality of information and data
  • Strong reporting, metrics, and analytic experience
  • Experience working within a high-volume environment
  • Ability to think logically, critically, and constructively about complex problems, and propose creative solutions that address business needs
  • An ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment, using your own judgment and taking the initiative in problem resolution
  • Strong customer service focus, with the ability to build productive working relationships and communicate accurate information to internal and external stakeholders
  • Willingness to challenge and ask questions
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Enthusiasm and drive to achieve excellent results
  • Microsoft Excel

Desirable

  • Health industry experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Finance or related discipline
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC), Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and Payroll Control Centre (PCC) experience
  • UKG (Kronos) experience
  • SQL experience
  • Spinifex experience
