ABOUT THE JOB

The Payroll Services Associate ensures the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees. The person will collaborate with the Colleague Services Team to ensure all payroll-related activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.

YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. The general scope of work:

• Input payroll-related data into payroll systems
• Verify the employee records and ask Associate, Colleague Services to fix the employee records including:

+ Salary changes

+ Allowances and benefits

+ Overtime payments

+ Bonuses and incentives

+ Deductions (insurance, tax, unpaid leave, etc)

• Review payroll input data to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance
• Perform pre-payroll checks and reconciliation to identify discrepancies
• Validate payroll changes against supporting documents
• Prepare payroll input files and upload them into payroll systems.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for payroll transactions
• Generate payroll related reports such as GL mappings, SHUI and Trade Union contributions, etc.
• Prepare the monthly Personal Income Tax Returns
• Prepare the Personal Income Tax finanlization
• Support with tax code registration for new hires
• Support with dependent registration

2. Other tasks

• Filing employee’s pfile
• Scanning the labour contracts
• Support with Annual Health Check up
• Other tasks as assigned by People Manager.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience.
• Have knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in payroll software and technology, such as ADP, Workday, SAP or similar platforms is preferred.
• Good English communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and analytical, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
• Have growth mindset and willingness to go extra miles to support for the team (when required)
• Hard-working and responsible
