This role ensures the seamless execution of HR processes across the employee lifecycle while maintaining compliance with local regulations. It also supports employee inquiries and HR communication efforts to enhance operational efficiency. This includes managing end-to-end payroll and benefits operations, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and internal policies while maintaining data accuracy and integrity By leveraging systems like Workday and fostering collaboration across HR functions, the role enhances operational efficiency and elevates the overall employee experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

HR Shared Service Operations

  • Professional delivery and flawless execution of HR transactions throughout the employment lifecycle and Operational HR task within our centralized Shared Service Model.
  • Manage a variety of HR processes in accordance / compliance with country policies and local regulations Korea geographies. Enhance the control in the process and system execution for any transaction task.
  • Ensure the Highest Data Quality and Integrity for any transaction in Workday System.
  • Guide employees and managers in using Workday and other HR systems facilitating technology adoption. This is included the change management initiative that will impacting the audiences in the market.
  • Streamline HR Operations, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall employee experience by delivering consistent and accurate HR services to the organization.

Payroll and Benefits

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees, including payroll calculations, deductions, and retirement pension contributions, in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll records and data integrity in the payroll system, ensuring timely updates for new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments.
  • Manage employee leave records and ensure compliance with the 52 workhours regulation through effective time management practices.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks, in collaboration with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with local HR teams and finance departments to reconcile benefits and payroll-related accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure seamless processing.
  • Stay updated on changes in labor laws, tax regulations, and benefits practices, and implement necessary updates to payroll and benefits processes accordingly.
  • Prepare payroll-related reports, analytics, and metrics for management review, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements and compliance enhancements.
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll and benefits processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to internal controls and best practices.
  • Address employee inquiries related to payroll, time & leaves, and benefits, providing timely and accurate responses, and resolving issues effectively.
  • Support HR communication channels such as all staffs Monday Morning Meetings, HR quarterly letters and scheduling HR events, etc.
  • Support other HR initiatives and events as assigned.

Continuous Improvement

  • This role aims to streamline HR and Payroll Operations, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall employee experience by delivering consistent and accurate HR services to the organization.
  • Optimization and Enhancement Workday Human resources management system – Requires a blend of project management skills, HR Domain Knowledge, and expertise in the Workday Platform to support on this responsibility

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance or relevant field
  • 5+ years’ experience in Human Resources and payroll and benefits management.
  • Experience of Workday system is preferred
  • Experience with and solid proficiency in HR processes throughout the employee life cycle and related standard operating procedures
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Understanding of payroll and tax regulations, and benefits practices.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity in processing payroll and benefits data.
  • Think creatively on how we maximize the Workforce Transformation design, process and communications for optimal use and benefit for our Technologists.
  • Ability to offer solutions, provide advice and drive resolution on people related matters
  • Approaches challenges with an open-mind and is willing to try new things
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
