Priory Hospital Bristol has an opportunity for a Payroll & Finance Administrator to join our team.

Priory Hospital Bristol, Stapleton, Bristol is a specialist mental health and addiction treatment service for individuals, families and couples. It provides fast access to treatment for a range of psychiatric conditions and addictions. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes serving Stapleton and Bristol Parkway railway station, which is approximately 2–3 miles from the hospital.

What you'll be doing

We’re looking for an organised and detail-focused Payroll & Finance Administrator to join the team, supporting the accurate and timely processing of payroll and a range of HR and financial administration. Working closely with the HR Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring payroll deadlines and financial controls are met.

In this role, you will:
  • Process weekly and monthly payroll, ensuring amendments are completed accurately by cut-off dates.
  • Maintain the Health Roster and coordinate employee leave and absences.
  • Respond to employee payroll queries, escalating complex issues where required.
  • Review and approve invoices and manage petty cash.
  • Support effective financial controls and ensure accurate employee and payroll data.

What you'll bring to the role

Ideally, you will have experience in roster management, although this is not essential. You should be comfortable working independently in a standalone role, with the ability to manage your own workload effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment.
