What You'll Be Doing

  • Represent payroll operations throughout the PROPEL transformation initiative and provide subject matter expertise on payroll processes.
  • Participate in design workshops, process mapping sessions, and solution reviews to support future-state payroll operations.
  • Document business requirements, operational procedures, process flows, and payroll control.
  • Execute and support testing activities, including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and payroll parallel testing.
  • Analyze payroll calculations, taxes, deductions, earnings, and integrations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and business alignment.
  • Identify, document, track, and help resolve system defects, testing issues, and payroll discrepancies.
  • Partner with ADP, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to validate solutions, support integrations, and drive process improvements.

What Are We Looking For

  • 5+ years of payroll operations experience in a complex, multi-state payroll environment, including payroll system implementations, conversions, or transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience with ADP payroll solutions and participation in implementation, conversion, optimization, or system enhancement projects.
  • Strong understanding of payroll tax, wage and hour, garnishment, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting payroll testing, reconciliation, data validation, and issue resolution activities.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

Work Environment

  • Hybrid office environment with regular collaboration across Payroll, HR, IT, Finance, and external vendor teams.
  • Fast-paced project environment requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Frequent participation in testing sessions, workshops, process reviews, and project meetings.
  • Occasional travel may be required to support implementation activities, training sessions, and business initiatives.
