The Opportunity
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end payroll delivery within a large local government organisation. Reporting to the Head of Payroll, the role ensures payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in line with legislative, industrial, and organisational requirements.
The position is responsible for maintaining payroll system and data integrity, providing expert advice on payroll, superannuation, and employee entitlements, and acting as application owner for key payroll and HCM systems. You will contribute to continuous improvement, system enhancements, and strong payroll governance while working collaboratively across the organisation.
