A career within the Tax Workforce team will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills in payroll administration and contribute to the delivery of high-quality payroll services to clients. You will support the payroll team in processing payroll data, preparing payroll documentation and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and statutory requirements. You will also assist in handling payroll-related queries with professionalism and care, while contributing to the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day operations. As an Administrator, you will be part of a collaborative team environment where you will learn, grow and develop a strong understanding of payroll processes and service excellence.

Candidates for this role, ideally match the skills below:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when handling payroll-related information

  • Good numerical and analytical skills

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

  • Willingness to learn and develop an understanding of payroll processes, statutory requirements and internal procedures

  • A professional, discreet and confidential approach when dealing with sensitive employee information

Responsibilities

If you’re successful, you’ll undertake engagements locally and globally which could include a combination of but not limited to:

  • Ensure timely and smooth delivery of payroll processing, corresponding to the current service delivery model that is in place for our clients.

  • Propose innovative solutions to help enhance payroll quality.

  • Keep up to date with developments in your area of specialism.

  • Build strong working relationships with clients, colleagues and other key stakeholders, while demonstrating curiosity to better understand their needs and contribute to meaningful discussions.

  • Give and receive feedback openly and professionally, using it as an opportunity for continuous improvement.

  • Seek opportunities to learn about how PwC works as a global network of firms.

  • Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Qualifications & Experience and Skills Required

  • HSC school leavers with good A-levels.

  • One year experience in a similar field would be an advantage.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

  • SAGE VIP experience would be an advantage.
