Job Description

Responsibilities

• Process daily outgoing and incoming payments for individual and corporate accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Review payment instructions and supporting documents to confirm they meet internal procedures and approval requirements.
• Perform regular checks and reconciliations of payment records, investigating and clearing exceptions promptly.
• Work closely with internal teams and external counterparties to resolve payment issues or settlement discrepancies.
• Ensure all transactions comply with internal controls, regulatory standards, and AML requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all payment activities.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing records, explanations, and supporting information when required.
• Participate in process reviews and operational improvements, and assist with ad-hoc operational tasks.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree holder with at least 1 year of relevant experience in payments, settlements, or operations within financial services.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle transactional work accurately in a time-sensitive environment.
• Good communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ability to learn systems and processes quickly.
