We are urgently looking to fill two (2) Senior SDET positions for a high-profile client in the payments and financial technology sector. The ideal candidates will have deep expertise in the card payment lifecycle, payment scheme rules, and regulatory mandates You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks to ensure the robustness, security, and compliance of payment systems and platforms.
Develop, maintain, and enhance automated testing frameworks for payment processing systems.
Test and validate the card payment lifecycle processes, including authorisation, clearing, and settlement.
Ensure compliance with scheme rules (Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, and local payment networks).
Validate adherence to regulatory mandates including PSD2, Strong Customer Authentication (SCA), AML, and KYC requirements.
Work closely with development, product, and compliance teams to identify and resolve defects early in the lifecycle.
Conduct functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for MPS platform functions such as merchant onboarding, settlement schedules, and dispute handling.
Analyse test results, identify root causes, and ensure defects are resolved in a timely manner.
Proven experience as an SDET or QA Automation Engineer in the payments or fintech industry.
Strong understanding of the card payment lifecycle from authorisation through to settlement.
In-depth knowledge of scheme rules (Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, local networks).
Familiarity with regulatory mandates such as PSD2, SCA, AML, and KYC.
Hands-on experience with MPS platforms and associated processes.
Strong automation skills using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
Experience with scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience working in agile environments.
Exposure to payment gateway integrations.
ISTQB or equivalent certification.
