Help shape a consistent, controlled regulatory operating model for a fast-moving Payments business. Partner globally with Product, Compliance, Operations, Legal, Controls, and Technology to drive clarity and execution. Deliver better outcomes by turning evolving regulations and product change into actionable, well-governed intake decisions.

Job Summary

As a Regulatory Operations Associate within Global Regulatory Operations, you will manage intake for new/revised regulations and new product initiatives supporting Payments. You will assess applicability and operational impact, coordinate cross-functional alignment, and ensure smooth handoffs to delivery teams. You will contribute to strategic initiatives, consistent governance, and improved regulatory operational outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform periodic scanning/monitoring of regulatory developments with a focus on APAC Payments applicability
  • Identify new and revised regulatory items relevant to Payments products and processes
  • Interpret regulatory requirements and assess impacts to Payments processes, controls, and reporting
  • Document intake decisions, rationale, and operational implications in a controlled, standardized manner
  • Conduct cross-product impact analysis for new product offerings and product changes
  • Review intake submissions for completeness, scope alignment, and applicability to team coverage
  • Coordinate alignment across Compliance, Legal, Product, Operations, Technology, and Controls stakeholders
  • Facilitate smooth transitions and handoffs from intake to delivery/implementation teams
  • Organize stakeholder meetings, drive actions to closure, and provide clear status updates
  • Maintain and enhance the regulatory inventory and respond to internal stakeholder queries
  • Contribute to the global knowledge base by updating procedures, documentation, and reporting/metrics

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Demonstrate 3+ years of experience in regulatory operations/reporting, compliance, or a similar role
  • Apply a strong understanding of Payments products/processes (e.g., cross-border payments, deposit accounts)
  • Leverage working knowledge of India payments regulatory landscape (e.g., RBI expectations/circulars; AML/CTF obligations)
  • Interpret complex requirements and translate them into operational impact
  • Document decisions clearly and consistently for governance and auditability
  • Analyze issues with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail while managing multiple concurrent intakes
  • Communicate effectively in English and build relationships with global partners and senior stakeholders

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Use JIRA to manage intake workflows, actions, and status tracking
  • Use Confluence to maintain documentation and share team knowledge
  • Support global stakeholders across time zones with responsive coordination
  • Contribute to standardized global operating models and consistent governance practices
  • Leverage process automation or analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx) to improve team outcomes
  • Drive process improvement opportunities through structured problem solving and follow-through
  • Demonstrate an interest in operational excellence and continuous improvement across regulatory intake processes
