As a Business Analyst within Corporate and Investment Bank Payments Operations, you will promote automation and execution of EMEA regulatory reporting obligations. You will leverage your analytical skills to support process improvements and key initiatives, collaborating across teams to ensure compliance and operational excellence. Your expertise will help deliver accurate, efficient reporting and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze regulations to identify EMEA reporting requirements and products in scope.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, Technology, and Product partners to understand procedures and data sources.
  • Lead business analysis for reporting obligations using Waterfall and Agile best practices.
  • Gather, validate, and own business requirements; write BRDs, define acceptance criteria, perform testing, and raise user stories.
  • Identify process improvements and risk mitigation solutions to strengthen control environments.
  • Conduct walkthroughs with stakeholders to articulate reporting requirements.
  • Execute data analysis, prepare reports, and manage regulatory submissions.
  • Prepare SOPs, document changes, and maintain Confluence wiki content.
  • Participate in department continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders on status, progress, issues, and blockers.
  • Proactively self-learn and investigate product designs, systems, and payment flows.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Min. 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from different departments and areas of expertise.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate technical information into clear business reports.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a structured approach.
  • Demonstrated leadership, responsibility, analytical skills, and self-motivation.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Knowledge of SQL, Alteryx, or Python.
  • Additional languages such as Spanish, French, German, or Italian.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with payment systems such as ACH, SEPA, RTP, Wires, and demand deposit accounts.
  • Previous experience in regulatory reporting, business analysis, or process automation within financial services.
