About the role
The Guinness Partnership is looking to recruit a Payments Officer to join a busy, thriving team based in Oldham on a nine-month fixed-term contract. We currently offer hybrid working, blending 3 office days with 2 days working from home.

What we are looking for
Reporting to the Payments Manager, you will ensure that internal and external queries are resolved promptly. You will support the delivery of key functions such as transaction processing, payment runs and managing payable ledgers.

We are a customer-focused organisation, so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You will not only be experienced in accounts payables, you will also have great attention to detail and the ability to accurately maintain financial information.

You will be able to demonstrate these essential skills:
• Proven customer service experience.
• A commitment to teamwork and the ability to adapt to change and be flexible.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Good oral and written communication.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.

Desirable skills:
• Experience of month end processes.
• Experience of using Oracle Financials or equivalent finance system.
