Job Description
Responsible for monitoring secure file movement between Sutton Bank, its partners and clients, supporting critical file movement on a 24/7 support schedule. Engages with bank partners as needed to ensure all needed files are accounted for daily and follow outlined escalation paths as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a computer related discipline.
Experience:Technical IT experience in overall IT Support. Strong knowledge of HTTP, HTTPS, and SFTP protocols. Understanding and management of SSL, TLS, data encryption, and certificates. Or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Essential Functions:
- Manages and tracks all daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly file deliveries.
- Reports and documents all late files as they pass the expected delivery times.
- Contacts PPO specialists to request late or missing files as needed.
- Monitors, reports and remediates failed jobs queue in the MFT software
- Identifies and works with Payments Processor Operations Team to ensure that all issues are reported to the Partner Processors as they arise.
- Reports all unknown files that arrive from Partners to MFT & Production Support Manager.
- Works with the Payments Teams and/or Partner on project implementations.
- Assists in creating and supports changes required to file staging and loading.
- Communicates findings and solutions to Payments MFT & Production Support Manager and project Partners as required.
- Assists in monitoring expiring encryption keys and SFTP credentials.
- Provides 24/7 support of critical files flows by responding to alerting (on call).
- Assists in test environment data requirements setup and maintenance, testing and validation as assigned.
- Works with Data Teams as assigned on any additional files issues that are uncovered.
- Suggests technical alternatives and improves/streamlines MFT processes and systems.
- Thoroughly understands the processes provided on the Sutton Data Lake.

- The ability to communicate effectively and clearly, both in verbal and written communications.

- Strong knowledge of the Payments Industry and/or card processing.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees, customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

- Must have ability to analyze and solve complex problems, develop automated systems.
- Proven ability to support multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.

- Ability to articulate technical concepts both written and oral.
- Ability to read, analyze and comprehend general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, audit reports, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to learn new languages and technologies.
- Ability to work with SQL to develop IDE's.
- Ability to work with database technologies like mySQL, Oracle, SQL Server.
- Ability to manipulate data for meaningful reporting.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work effectively, both independently and in team settings, to include close collaboration with Processors.
