Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and strategic Industry Solutions Manager to join our APAC Corporate Development & Partnerships team. In this mid-level management role, you will be responsible to identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with fintech companies across the APAC region. You will focus on payment industry trends by engaging with external stakeholders (e.g., industry experts, consultants, and investors), and you will lead partner governance across the full lifecycle—from onboarding through commercialization—ensuring these partnerships enhance JPMorganChase banking services and deliver value to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Evaluate Opportunities.Conduct market and competitive research to identify fintech partners across APAC aligned to strategic priorities, product capability gaps, and customer needs. Evaluate opportunities based on business impact, feasibility, risk, technological advancements and regional market dynamics.
  • Develop Strategic Partnerships / Alliances.Build and maintain relationships with consultants, venture capital firms, and fintech companies. Engage partners to identify emerging trends and potential strategic investments. Negotiate and execute partnership agreements that deliver mutual value and support innovation goals across APAC.
  • Stay Informed on Regional Trends.Track fintech and payments developments across APAC, including regulatory changes, emerging technologies, and competitor activity, and translate insights into actionable partnership opportunities.
  • Drive end-to-end corporate development outcomes.Originate and prioritize strategic opportunities (partnerships, investments, and M&A) aligned to business strategy; build the business case; lead cross-functional diligence, negotiation, and approvals; and own post-deal governance (onboarding/integration, KPI tracking, and value realization) to ensure targeted strategic and financial impact.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams.Partner closely with regional and local product, technology, CCOR, and legal teams to drive effective onboarding and integration of fintech solutions with JPMorganChase capabilities. Ensure clear communication, alignment, and timely decision-making across stakeholders.
  • Drive Regional Innovation.Champion adoption of innovative fintech solutions that improve customer experience, increase operational efficiency, and expand the bank’s product offerings across APAC.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market and commercialization plans for fintech solutions, including business cases, target segments, success metrics, and revenue tracking. Organize training and demos to the sales/bankers/PSS on the fintech solution. Monitor solution performance and communicate results to stakeholders.
  • Own partnership governance and performance management across the lifecycle (onboarding, delivery, and commercialization). Provide regular reporting to regional management on progress, outcomes, risks/issues, and strategic impact.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, fintech partnerships, alliances, or business development, including people-management experience.
  • Proven experience managing partnerships within financial services and/or fintech, preferably with APAC regional exposure.
  • Strong understanding of fintech and payments trends, technologies, and business models in APAC.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strategic, analytical, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel within APAC and/or globally as required.
