Job Description

Are you ready to drive sponsor-backed treasury and payments wins for portfolio companies in JPMorganChase TS-FSG? If so, you found the right team!

As an Industry Solutions Director – Sponsor Payments Executive within JPMorganChase Treasury Services’ Financial Sponsors Group (TS-FSG), you will partner with financial sponsor firms and their portfolio companies to identify, develop, and deliver treasury, payments, liquidity, and working capital solutions; drive new business and expand existing relationships through consultative engagements and business process reviews across Treasury, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable; and represent client needs to internal product and coverage partners to help evolve solutions and improve client outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Originate and execute growth opportunities across treasury management solutions through sponsor referrals, direct prospecting, and portfolio company relationship expansion and transitions.
  • Lead end-to-end consultative engagements, including kickoff, discovery, analysis, recommendation development, and delivery of client-ready outputs.
  • Assess and document treasury operating models, cash positioning, and AP/AR workflows; identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, and working capital performance.
  • Engage senior client stakeholders (e.g., CFOs, Treasurers, Controllers) to facilitate strategic treasury dialogues supported by benchmarking, quantitative insights, and solution alignment.
  • Partner with bankers, Treasury Sales, and product teams to deliver coordinated, integrated solutions; manage stakeholder alignment, timelines, and execution for complex initiatives.
  • Conduct targeted business process reviews aligned to sales opportunities; leverage internal specialists as needed for complex redesign and solutioning.
  • Provide structured client feedback and market observations to internal product partners to inform the design, prioritization, and enhancement of treasury and payments capabilities.
  • Develop and deliver market-facing thought leadership (e.g., roundtables, sponsor events, conferences, webinars) in accordance with firm policies and approval requirements.
  • Create internal enablement materials and deliver training to banking and sales partners on relevant treasury, payments, and industry topics as needed.
  • Support sound business practices by monitoring relationship economics and helping manage applicable risks (including adherence to pricing discipline, overdraft practices, and required risk and control standards).

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 7+ years of experience in treasury/cash management, working capital, treasury consulting, payments/receivables/payables solutioning, or consultative sales/advisory roles.
  • Experience working with financial sponsors and/or sponsor-backed portfolio companies, with understanding of sponsor coverage models and portfolio operating priorities.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, consultative selling, and opportunity management, including prospecting, solution positioning, negotiation, and closing.
  • Strong knowledge of treasury and cash management fundamentals, including working capital, receivables and revenue cycle considerations, payables/AP, daily cash processes, and operating model optimization.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to quantify opportunities and translate findings into clear, actionable client recommendations (written and verbal).
  • Executive presence and ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior client stakeholders and internal partners.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder workstreams under time constraints with strong organization and project management discipline.
  • Working knowledge of treasury services products and applicable risk and control considerations relevant to client delivery and relationship management.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience); Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred.
  • Familiarity with Treasury Management Systems (TMS), ERPs, and related technologies supporting
  • Treasury/AP/AR workflows.
  • Knowledge of JPMorganChase Treasury Services capabilities and how to apply them to sponsor-backed operating models.
