ROLE PURPOSE: This role will support the operations for all USD Domestic Payment Rails,inclusive of ACH, High value (specific to Fedwire) and USD Clearing payments for our corporate and financial institution client base as part of the launch of a new U.S. bank. This role will report to the Head of Operations. The position combines the strategic and leadership duties of an operations lead with the hands-on build and delivery of a operations user, ensuring the seamless delivery of solutions to support the business.The Payment Operations Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant execution of payment transactions across various platforms and currencies. This role supports the end-to-end lifecycle of payments, including initiation, monitoring, reconciliation, exception handling, and stakeholder coordination. The associate will work closely with internal teams, external partners, and financial institutions to maintain operational integrity and client satisfactionKey responsibilities include supporting building out our payment and rail strategy as well as overseeing the execution of the related products, aligning to regulatory, compliance, legal and scheme requirements. Additionally helping build out the USD clearing proposition, for onward FI clients. The role will therefore involve a diverse mix of strategy, product development, product roll out and execution. The role will also be a key member of the team helping to develop new talent and grow the operations team further.
