Investigator Payment Lead

Location - Bulgaria (potentially can consider applications from candidates based in Poland and Spain)

As a Site Payment Associate your ultimate responsibility will be to provide support for activities related to accurate and timely site payments.

What You Will Do:

  • Review clinical trial agreements, study budgets, amendments, and other payment-related documentation to accurately capture and interpret financial requirements for system setup, including payment amounts, limits, caps, and supporting documentation requirements.

  • Configure site payment information within the Investigator Payment System (IPS), ensuring data is entered accurately and in line with contractual agreements.

  • Identify and appropriately set up both automated and manually triggered payment activities within the payment platform.

  • Proactively investigate unclear or incomplete payment terms and work with relevant stakeholders to obtain clarification and resolve issues promptly.

  • Coordinate with investigative sites to obtain, update, and maintain payee information and required financial documentation.

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams and key business partners to support payment operations.

Your Profile:

You will ideally bring relevant pricing and investigator payments experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business, life sciences, finance, or related field, or equivalent relevant industry experience.

  • Must be available to start within 4-6 weeks maximum

  • Previous experience in a clinical research, financial operations, contracts, payments, or similar environment is advantageous.

  • Understanding of clinical trial processes and the role of site payments within the study lifecycle is preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate contractual, financial, and operational information effectively.

  • Professional fluency in English is required; additional European language skills would be beneficial.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to analyse, manage, and reconcile data accurately
