To capture and process inwards and outwards payments on systems and ensure excellent service delivery in an efficient timeframe through proper communication with different stakeholders.
Key accountabilities
Operations
Handling of payments in terms of pre-processing, pre-vetting, scanning, call back
Communicate with customer/RM in respect of payments
Provide an excellent customer service
Comply to SLA in place
Abide to Absa banking practice & procedures
Maintain the highest standard of internal control & operating procedures in line with Absa group policies
Effect proper filing where required
Escalate complaints to higher officials – officer / supervisor/ manager
Teamwork
Work closely with other team members as one team to deliver excellent performance
Provide cover for other team members as required.
Accounting and Reporting
Assist in producing Management Information when called upon
Assist in the buildup of Monthly statistics
