We're looking for a Payment Solutions Specialist to help shape the next generation of our payment experience across the UK and Ireland. In this role, you'll help ensure our players enjoy a seamless, secure and reliable payment experience by monitoring transaction performance, managing Payment Service Provider (PSP) operations, and resolving payment-related issues.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys analysing data, solving operational challenges, and continuously improving payment processes in a fast-paced iGaming environment.

Your role & responsibilities

Daily Monitoring & Execution: Track daily payment metrics (approval rates, declines, processing costs). Learn our infrastructure to support and propose payment routing updates initially, progressing to managing configurations independently over time.

Troubleshoot & Resolve: Deep dive into failed transactions and daily payment errors to identify trends, resolve payment issues, and minimise customer friction.

PSP Coordination: Serve as the day-to-day operational contact for PSPs, tracking their KPIs and handling technical or transactional issues directly with their support teams, including routine administrative and document requests.

Integration Support: Provide operational support during new PSP integrations, platform upgrades, and checkout testing phases.

Data & Reporting Compile and deliver payment performance reports using Metabase and Excel. Maintain data integrity by identifying tracking gaps, collaborating with the Data team to build new dashboards, and performing data extractions and analysis across various platforms (including Payment IQ) as our reporting infrastructure scales.

Incident Management: Actively monitor and respond to live payment incidents to quickly minimise disruptions to the customer experience. This role includes participating in a shared on-call rota with the Head of Payment Solutions to ensure coverage during critical windows.

Cross-Functional Support: Act as the primary operational point of contact for internal teams (such as Customer Support and Risk), sharing payment insights and troubleshooting knowledge to help resolve internal queries efficiently.

Skills & Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in payment operations or payment product optimisation, ideally within the iGaming sector.

  • Highly organised with an analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a focus on solving problems and finding efficiencies.

  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively across teams and with external partners.

  • A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and thrive in a team environment.

Nice to have:

  • Experience within a UKGC-licensed iGaming business

  • Experience with Payment IQ or another payment orchestration platform.

  • Knowledge of AML/KYC, fraud prevention and payment risk.
