Step into the role of Payment Research Operations Analyst at Barclays, where you will be responsible for daily operations and supporting business areas with day-to-day processing, reviews, reporting, trading activities, and issue resolution.
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills:
• Ability to work in a permanent night shift and from the office 5 days a week during training and until full production (approximately 4–6 months).
• USCB Bank Operations function between 4:00 PM IST and 5:00 AM IST (next day), across all 7 days of the week.
• Strong understanding of US Payment Regulations, credit card lifecycle, payment issue handling, and US Consumer Banking credit card products (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of US regulations, acts, laws, and regulatory bodies such as CFPB, BBB, FCRA, FDCPA, UDAAP, ADA, and SCRA.
• Strong comprehension skills with the ability to review and validate documentation for compliance with policies, regulatory requirements, and internal control standards.
• Ability to manage customer issues related to payments, including Balance Transfers, CBR, Check Processing, and ACH Payment Processing.
• Ability to follow established processes and procedures while delivering work accurately, timely, and to a high-quality standard.
• Experience collaborating with internal business teams such as Office of the President, Care, Collections, and Fraud.
• Ability to engage effectively with external stakeholders, including US-based banks and other financial institutions.
• Strong focus on quality, comprehension, logical reasoning, and regulatory adherence.
• Excellent command of the English language.
