The associate works under moderate supervision and contributes to operational continuity, fraud monitoring, and customer service across the wire transfer lifecycle.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process outgoing wire transfers and validate incoming wire data in accordance with internal policies and federal regulations (BSA, Reg E, UCC4A).
  • Conduct callback verifications for all outgoing wires over $1 million and for designated accounts, ensuring proper authentication.

  • Perform daily balancing of the wire system with the Federal Reserve to ensure transactional integrity.
  • Repair and return incomplete or incorrect incoming wires, in line with policy requirements.

  • Complete all required internal training and maintain proficiency in wire systems and procedures.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

  • At least 2 years of experience in banking operations, preferably in wire, ACH, or payment processing.
  • Familiarity with wire processing platforms and regulatory frameworks (e.g., BSA, UCC4A, Reg E).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a high-volume environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with FedLine, SWIFT, or equivalent platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to interface effectively with internal departments and external customers.
  • Must successfully complete all required internal training and certification upon hire.

ESSENTIAL MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions
  • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
  • Ability to operate related equipment to perform the essential job functions
  • Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions
  • Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 10 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions.
