Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Payment Ops Trainer to join our ever-evolving team and help clients and colleagues maximize the value of our payment solutions and technologies.
What you'll own
Create and deliver engaging training programs across a range of payment processing products, systems, technologies, and operational processes for both internal and external audiences.
Analyze training needs and develop, maintain, and enhance training content, materials, and supporting resources based on product enhancements, system changes, regulatory requirements, and payment brand mandates with strong attention to detail.
Facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and on-site training sessions, translating complex concepts into practical, easy-to-understand learning experiences for diverse audiences.
Partner with developers, program managers and internal stakeholders to tailor training programs, ensuring content aligns with business objectives, operational requirements, and user needs.
Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and agents by providing demonstrations, guidance, and consultation on system functionality and ancillary products.
Lead training activities throughout implementation and onboarding projects, acting as the primary liaison between clients and Global Payments for all training-related needs.
Provide coaching, knowledge transfer, and ongoing support to colleagues and business partners to promote continuous learning and development.
Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and business outcomes, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, including analysis of data that requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Build and maintain expertise across multiple products, technologies, and functional areas while proactively expanding knowledge of the payments industry.
What you'll bring
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
4+ years of experience in training delivery, instructional design, customer education, professional services, payments, financial services, or a related field.
Experience delivering technical or systems-based training to internal teams, clients, or external partners.
Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information for various audiences.
Ability to assess training needs, develop learning solutions, and adapt content based on business and customer requirements.
Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and build strong relationships with stakeholders, receiving little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments.
Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment when navigating diverse business and customer situations, including the ability to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways.
A collaborative approach with a passion for helping others learn, develop, and succeed.
It's a bonus if you have
Experience supporting payment processing, fintech, merchant services, financial technology, or software solutions.
Experience across the full training lifecycle, including needs analysis, design, development, delivery, and evaluation.
Training certifications or professional development credentials in instructional design, adult learning, or related disciplines.
Experience delivering on-site customer training and supporting implementation or onboarding projects.
Proficiency in a second language.
