As a Payment Lifecycle Associate I within Payments Operations, you will enhance our payment operations framework by streamlining processes, implementing new technologies, and developing operational functions, while managing payment processing across various products to ensure smooth fund transfers and reconcile purchase and sales options, futures, or securities. Leveraging your proficiency in automation, cybersecurity, and anti-fraud awareness, you will ensure the security and efficiency of our payment lifecycle. Your ability to manage stakeholders, influence decisions, and handle conflicts will drive mutually beneficial outcomes, while your strategic planning skills will guide our direction and resource allocation decisions. Additionally, your proficiency in AI/ML will be utilized to solve complex problems and enhance processes, applying your knowledge in market product and process improvement to optimize our operations.

Job responsibilities
  • Drive global change and transformation initiatives to advance payments product innovation and operational excellence.
  • Develop and execute structured change management strategies for high-impact technical initiatives.
  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycles by setting milestones, tracking budgets, and allocating resources across concurrent workstreams.
  • Conduct technical and operational impact analyses, including risk assessments, capacity planning, regulatory obligations, and control design to prevent downtime.
  • Facilitate Change Advisory forums to review, prioritize, and approve technical change requests.
  • Oversee implementation of payments technical changes to ensure alignment with business strategy and client needs.
  • Create training and communication plans to guide non-technical staff through system transitions and adoption.
  • Define and track efficiency impacts and success metrics through scorecards and project tracking tools.
  • Coordinate working group and steering committee governance by setting agendas, preparing materials, documenting minutes, and driving action-item ownership.
  • Communicate progress and decisions by delivering status updates and senior presentations to management and LOB executives.
  • Strengthen risk and control outcomes by managing risks, issues, and dependencies, supporting audits and regulatory reviews, and partnering with operations leaders.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Project Management, or related field.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of payments, treasury services, and cash operations.
  • Technologically savvy, with experience in digital transformation and change/transition projects.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and presentation software (PowerPoint, Tableau).
  • Collaborative, energetic, and results-oriented team leader.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience with global payments, liquidity, and cash management products.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and control processes in financial services.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong execution skills; hands-on experience with ISO20022 transformation and SWIFT preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in change management, project management, or operations (preferably in financial services or payments).
