- The Payload and Gimbal Design Intern at FLOWCO HOLDINGS INC. will play a crucial role in supporting the design and development of advanced payload and gimbal systems specifically for methane detection platforms. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in creating and modifying 3D CAD models, supporting prototype fabrication, and assisting in the integration of payload components. The intern will work closely with a team of experienced engineers and designers to contribute to innovative solutions in environmental technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the design and development of payload and gimbal systems for methane detection platforms.
- Create and modify 3D CAD models to support design objectives.
- Support the fabrication of prototypes to validate design concepts.
- Help integrate payload components into existing systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure design specifications are met.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain documentation of design processes and modifications.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in payload and gimbal systems.
QualificationsRequired Education:
- Must be enrolled in a bachelor's program at an accredited university.
Required Experience:
- Experience with 3D CAD modeling software.
- Experience in assisting with prototype fabrication and integration.
- Previous internship or project experience in mechanical or aerospace engineering is a plus.
