Job Description

Join Fulton Hogan and get stuck into a hands-on role where you’ll learn on the job, work with a good crew, and build a solid start in civil construction. This is a General Hand position only, suited to someone at the start of their career who brings the right attitude, shows up ready to work, and wants to learn.

You’ll support the team with general labouring and site tasks, helping keep work moving safely and efficiently. No big titles, no red tape, just good people doing good work together. If you’re reliable, practical, and keen to develop, we’ll back you with training and support.

Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities

• Support the crew with general labouring and day-to-day site tasks
• Help with site set-up, clean-up, and keeping work areas safe and tidy
• Use hand tools and equipment safely under guidance and training
• Assist with loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials within safe limits
• Follow instructions, work safely, and contribute as part of the team

• A full Class 1 licence as a minimum requirement
• A reliable approach and commitment to turning up to work consistently
• A positive attitude and genuine willingness to learn and develop
• Comfort with hands-on, outdoor work and the inherent requirements of the role
• A team-focused mindset and respect for safety, quality, and doing the job properly
