About the job:
The Pavilion Recreation Facility Shift Lead is responsible for leading and directing staff, programs and operations at a recreation facility during assigned shifts ensuring that standards and procedures are consistently maintained.
A day in the life:
Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
Schedule:
Saturdays: 12:00pm-10:30pm (10 hour shift)
Sundays: 2:00pm-10:00pm (6- 8 hour shift until mid July, then only occasional Sunday shifts due to events)
Some opportunities for other hours to cover when staff are out.

Supervision Received
Reports directly to a Recreation Facility Supervisor. Follows standard processes and procedures without supervision but confirms changes to standard practices and significant decisions in advance.
Supervision Exercised
Provides ongoing leadership and direction to all staff working assigned shifts, which may include directing and assigning work, adjusting work schedules, training, coaching and providing recommendations on evaluating performance and developing goals.
