In this role, you'll:


Join a team delivering specialist pavement engineering expertise that help shape the safety, reliability and performance of NSW’s road network.

Working alongside engineers, project managers and industry partners, you'll develop pavement designs, review pavement designs, provide technical advice on pavement design, construction and maintenance, and contribute to the development of engineering specifications, standards and test methods.

You will support continuous improvement and innovative engineering solutions in a technically complex environment while considering technical risks, costs, practicality, constructability, durability, and safety.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Pavement Engineer looking to deepen their pavement engineering expertise while contributing to the delivery and performance of one of Australia's largest transport networks.

About you


You will demonstrate existing knowledge of road pavement design, construction and materials technology together with experience reviewing technical designs, specifications and engineering documentation.

You will have strong analytical, research and problem-solving capabilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to varied audiences.

Motor vehicle driver’s license issued by an Australian state or territory and Flexibility to work outside normal business hours and travel on occasion are also requirements
