Job Description
Mode of Work: Onsite
Work Days & Timings: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
We are looking for an experienced Pattern Master GGT with strong command over GGT / CAD-based pattern making, garment fitting, pattern grading, and technical sample development for export-quality apparel products. The ideal candidate should be able to interpret tech packs, buyer comments, sketches, and sample feedback while ensuring production-friendly and accurate patterns.
Key Responsibilities
Pattern Making & Technical Development
- Create and modify garment patterns using GGT / CAD pattern-making software.
- Develop accurate patterns according to tech packs, buyer specifications, sketches, and sample requirements.
- Handle pattern grading, size sets, marker planning support, and pattern corrections.
- Review fit comments and make required pattern adjustments.
Sample & Production Support
- Coordinate with Sampling, Merchandising, Production, and Quality teams for accurate sample development.
- Ensure patterns meet measurement specifications, fit requirements, and production feasibility.
- Support development of sportswear, activewear, workwear, and other apparel categories.
- Support pre-production processes through accurate pattern development and correction.
Documentation & Technical Guidance
- Maintain pattern records, version control, and technical documentation.
- Guide sampling teams regarding construction methods, stitching details, and technical corrections.
- Identify potential production issues at the pattern stage and recommend solutions.
- Ensure patterns are production-friendly and reduce fabric wastage where possible.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Diploma / Certification in Pattern Making, Fashion Design, Textile, or relevant
- field preferred.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience as Pattern Master in garment manufacturing.
- Strong hands-on experience with GGT / CAD pattern-making software.
- Experience in sportswear, activewear, workwear, or export apparel preferred.
Mandatory Skills
- Excellent knowledge of garment construction, fitting, grading, and measurement specs.
- Ability to interpret tech packs, buyer comments, sketches, and sample feedback.
- Strong understanding of fabric behavior, shrinkage, stitching, and production feasibility.
- Good coordination skills with Sampling, Merchandising, Production, and Quality teams.
- Detail-oriented personality with strong problem-solving ability.
