Today Tanglewood annually draws over 350,000 visitors. About the Role
If you have a love of music, theBerkshiresand people then we have a wonderful opportunity to work on our Patron Services team. You willbe responsible foranswering questions,assistingcustomers, and providing informationregardingall details of Tanglewood both on the phone and in-person.
Responsibilities
Supervise thePatronServicesRepresentative team.
Work withteamtopromoteexceptional service to ensure a memorable patron experience
Ensurepatron service staffare well-informed and abletoprovideaccurateinformationregardingperformance schedules, Tanglewood layout, and patron services.
ManageLostand Found,disseminatinginformation, and providing general customer service in person and over the phone.
Assistguests with accessing Mobile Tickets
Collaboratewith other departments to ensure service excellence
Attends allcustomer service training and orientation meetings.
Required Education and Experience
Knowledge of all the amenities of Tanglewood's grounds andprograms;includes all events, rehearsals, talks, tours, etc.
Proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to read, understand, and respond to patron emails in a professional, customer-service–focused manner to provideaccurateand helpful information.
Ability toassistguests with accessing Mobile Tickets.
Knowledge of music is extremely helpful.
Foreign languages are a plus.
Required to attend customer service training and orientation meetings.
Pay Rate Range: $20.00 - $21.00

The Boston Symphony Orchestra gave its inaugural concert in 1881, realizing the dream of its founder, the Civil War veteran/businessman/philanthropist Henry Lee Higginson, who envisioned a great and permanent orchestra in his hometown of Boston. Today the BSO and Boston Pops reach millions of listeners through not only their concert performances in Boston and at Tanglewood, but also via digital programs on BSO NOW, radio, television, educational programs, recordings, and tours.
