Job Description

Schedule: Every other Saturday and Sunday (2pm-10pm)

Oversees the workflow and productivity of the Patient Transporters. Essential Functions:

  • Takes calls and enters transport task request information into the system. Arranges third-party transport request.
  • Dispatches tasks to available transporters. Coordinates transporters to ensure adequate coverage is available for transport tasks.
  • Performs patient transporter duties as needed during high-volume times. Assists with the on-boarding and orientation of new employees.
  • Fields informational and complaint calls and informs customers of ETAs, delays, and cancellations. Documents incidents that occur during shifts and escalates issues to leadership.
  • Generate productivity reports for review by Department Leadership.


Education Requirement:

High School Diploma or equivalent, required.


Licensure Requirement:

Certifications:

BLS, required.


Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.


Experience:

One year of Patient Transport or equivalent experience, required.
