Job Description

This opportunity is only open to applicants who are currently 'Priority Movers'. Applications from individuals not currently on the Priority Mover list will be rejected and not considered.

This is one of 11 patient tracing officer posts within NHS Central Register Branch of National Records of Scotland (NRS). The NHS Central Register is a database of all patients on GP lists in Scotland and plays a vital part in assisting the NHS transfer of medical records when patients move across UK borders.

The post offers a great opportunity to develop skills and experience as a data entry administrator contributing to NHSCR service delivery. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying and updating individual’s registration details on our system
  • Carrying out quality assurance work to verify data held on various databases.
  • Working flexibly as part of a team to meet the branch objectives.
  • Responding to customer enquiries

Working pattern

This role is a permanent level transfer position.
