This role ensures that all Patient Support Teams—including Value Driven Referrals (Referral Coordinators), Scheduling Coordinators, Service Recovery Specialists, and Medical Records—receive accurate, timely, and actionable information during any implementation or enablement effort.

Working closely with Patient Support leadership and all training, quality assurance, and administrative partners, this role ensures that departmental resources, workflows, and communication materials remain current and aligned with operational needs. The Enablement Coordinator acts as the central connection point between Patient Support and cross functional teams throughout the organization to ensure successful planning, handoff, and long term adoption of new processes or capabilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the primary Patient Support liaison for all new implementations, client transitions, vendor onboarding, internal product enhancements, and workflow changes that impact departmental operations.
  • Gather and synthesize implementation requirements from cross‑functional partners and collaborate with Patient Support leadership to assess impacts across all Patient Support teams.
  • Translate implementation details into clear documentation, workflows, and communication summaries for Training, Quality Assurance, and operational leadership.
  • Coordinate readiness planning, timelines, and task assignments to ensure each Patient Support team receives the necessary enablement resources prior to go‑live.
  • Partner with Training to support curriculum updates, resource creation, and related training needs stemming from new implementations or enhancements.
  • Maintain oversight of implementation deliverables, identify information gaps, and proactively escalate risk or barriers to leadership.
  • Support post launch evaluation and stabilization efforts by gathering feedback, identifying improvement opportunities, and communicating updates to stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2–3 years of healthcare operations, patient access or insurance related experience in a call center, patient support, healthcare operations, or similar environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong experience with patient communication, customer service, referral management, scheduling workflows, or related operational processes. Previous experience in training, quality assurance, coaching, process improvement, or team lead experience, preferred.

DESIRED ATTRIBUTES

  • Experience developing SOPs, training content, or workflow documentation
  • Familiarity with implementation management, cross‑functional project work, or change enablement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence without authority
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint), Salesforce, and EMR platforms
