Sodexo is seeking a Patient Service Manager 2 at McLaren Oakland located in Pontiac, MI. This strategic food service leader will direct and manage the patient feeding operations. This food service manager will lead, mentor and develop a team of frontline staff and supervisors to ensure we are meeting and exceeding expectations

What You'll Do

  • evaluate and develop service levels for the Patient Services Program, working to exceed patient satisfaction
  • oversee Sodexo’s Patient Dining Program (At Your Request) and daily meal rounding inclusive of service recovery
  • collaborate with clinical, food service and interdisciplinary teams to enhance the patient experience
  • perform tray assessments to ensure food quality, presentation and tray accuracy
  • present team updates at monthly meetings to senior management
  • perform management functions that including supervision of hourly associates, employee development, scheduling, and other HR related matters

What You Bring

  • experience reporting on metrics and department data to management
  • demonstrated success in implementing process or procedure improvements and enhancements
  • passion for our patients and customers to ensure our Sodexo CARES (Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Enthusiasm and Service) behaviors are followed daily
  • knowledge of nutrition and specialized diets
  • perform management functions that including supervision of hourly associates, employee development, scheduling, and other HR related matters
  • strong management skills, preferably in healthcare

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Management Experience - 2 yearsMinimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
