**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Patient Services Coordinator II to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating patient appointments, handling patient inquiries, and ensuring excellent customer service.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare or customer service role
- Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of insurance processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
**Responsibilities:**
- Schedule patient appointments and follow up to confirm attendance
- Greet and check in patients upon arrival, verifying demographic information
- Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries from patients and external parties
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documents
- Work closely with medical staff to ensure patient needs are met in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain patient records and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with insurance providers to verify coverage and process claims accurately
