Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Patient Services Coordinatorto join our team at RMA of New Yorkin Eastside, New York City

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, there are two shifts, shifts are assigned based on the need of the company (6:30 AM to 3:00 PM and 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM) Two Holidays a year and Saturday and Sunday also has two shifts (6:45 AM to 12:00 PM and 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM) Eastern Time
• Compensation:$17.00 to $19.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

In this role, the Patient Services Coordinator will:

• Interacting with patients; practicing effective, courteous communication
• Working the front desk
• Answering telephone and scheduling appointments
• Preparing charts; consistently ensuring appropriate forms are used
• Collecting patient payments due at the time of service; verifying accurate insurance information
• Good judgement and takes initiative.
• Interpersonal Skills: approachable, outgoing, and exhibit a professional disposition.
• Passionate about providing excellent patient care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of the team.

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications and Skills Include:

• A successful candidate must possess a High School Degree, Associates or bachelor's preferred.
• Strong verbal and reading skills.
• Basic familiarity with computers and office devices.
• Familiarity with computer applications (Microsoft Suite).
• Medical office experience is a plus, interest in the field of reproductive medicine a must.
