At our Western Haematology and Oncology Clinics (WHOC) in West Perth, we are interested in hearing from passionate and dedicated registered Patient Service Attendants for a part-time permanent opportunity. The opportunity is for 15 hours per week on Monday & Wednesday set days during normal business hours.

Key Responsibilities

The Patient Services Assistant works under the direction and supervision of the Oncology Nursing Unit Manager to provide a high standard of clinical and patient support services, environmental cleaning and catering services.

The role of this position is to deliver a high standard of patient support services and environmental cleaning to assist the hospital to meet its clinical, operational business and strategic, legislative, and health care standards and objectives.

Qualification and Skills

  • Previous experience in Hospitality/Cleaning services, ideally in a hospital environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and complete allocated tasks to a high standard.
  • Strong time management skills in order to maintain a high standard of cleaning, catering and patient support standards.
  • General experience in food handling and preparation.

Desirable

  • Certificate III in Health Services Assistance
  • Current Food Safety Certificate, or equivalent.
