Job Description

The Patient Service Specialist will:

• Effectively manage all front-office administrative tasks to ensure optimal patient care.
• Manage responsibilities such as patient registration, scheduling, referral management, insurance verification, and overseeing the check-in and check-out processes.
• Efficiently handle referrals and provide exceptional customer service, representing Springfield Hospital in a positive and supportive manner.
• Consistently embody the mission of "Where People Come First."

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of related work experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Proficient typing skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $19.00 - $22.50 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
