Job Description

Integrated Sleep Care is a Sleep Telemedicine and remote physiological monitoring (RPM) company focused on optimizing patient experience with sleep medicine diagnostics and therapy. The company incorporates coaching and RPM software support to improve adherence with CPAP treatment for obstructive sleep apnea.

This is a fully remote-based position that involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions.

The Patient Service Representative supports Integrated Sleep Care’s goals, values and philosophy by exhibiting the following behaviors: excellence, quality service, commitment and accountability. As a member of Integrated Sleep Care’s operations team, performance includes demonstration of the following accountabilities: communication, teamwork, job knowledge and individual leadership.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Patient Service Representative is a critical member of the operations team. The position is 100% remote based and is responsible for scheduling patient appointments, answering phone calls, obtaining and maintaining records, insurance verification, and providing excellent customer service This position will require interactions with patients, providers, DME teams, and provider teams.

Requirements

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

· Assist patients in making new appointments or adjusting existing appointments

· Obtain and maintain medical records

· Initiate outbound calls to patients, caregivers, and providers as needed

· Answer inbound calls for general inquiries and redirect as appropriate (provider and patient calls)

· Document all actions and interactions in electronic portal

· Train and support individuals regarding equipment, web portal, and application

· Able to react to change productively and handle all other duties/essential tasks as assigned

· Be available and online as schedule is designed

· Attend individual, weekly, and monthly chats, huddles, and meetings as scheduled

· Support reporting and communication efforts as needed

· Manage schedules for providers

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Minimum of a 4-year degree; may consider experience in lieu of education

Excellent customer service skills

No licensure or certifications required

Strong work history supporting patients and providers in various healthcare settings

OTHER SKILLS

Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals to include patients and providers; problem-solving skills; good judgment; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; computer literate with working knowledge of electronic medical records, Microsoft Word and Excel; highly developed organizational, planning and oral and written communication skills; ability to work effectively with others.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

· This is a fully remote-based position that involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions.

· Must have a suitable space to set up a home office to mitigate distractions that allows he/she to maintain a focused and productive work environment.

· Must be able to effectively manage and minimize distractions in the remote home office setting.

· Home office equipment to be provided includes computer, keyboard, mouse, and monitors.

· Must have reliable internet service to avoid interrupted delivery of service.
