The Patient Safety and Quality Specialist, Ambulatory, reports to the Manager/Director of Patient Safety & Quality and acts as a key partner in driving safety and performance improvement. With guidance, this individual will support quality, patient safety, regulatory, and high-reliability initiatives across the ambulatory continuum, which includes: a. Health and wellness centers b. Urgent care facilities c. Ambulatory surgery centers d. Physician practice sites (HMHMG) e. Diagnostics and therapeutics This role collaborates with Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) and joint venture (JV) clinical and operational leaders to achieve transformational and sustainable improvements in patient outcomes. This position will utilize project management, process mapping, reliability science, data-driven strategies, evidence-based best practices, and quality improvement (QI) principles.
