In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely registration of patients for services, verifying insurance information, and providing outstanding customer service. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedule would be Monday-Friday 5am-1pm and alternating Saturdays being 530am-10am.
- Greet patients and ensure their accurate registration in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collect and verify patient demographic information, insurance details, and medical histories.
- Enter patient data into electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff to resolve any issues regarding registration or insurance.
- Handle inquiries related to patient accounts, including insurance verification and billing.
- Process and schedule appointments as needed.
- Assist in the management of patient flow and coordinate with other departments for patient services.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all healthcare privacy regulations (HIPAA).
- Collaborates and communicates effectively with treatment team for the coordination of care.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma.
- Experience working in a clinic, physician office or hospital setting is preferred.
- Experience working with patients with behavioral health needs is preferred.
- An understanding of mental illness and substance use, psychiatric symptoms, and impact on functioning and behavior.
- Valid driver's license, car insurance, and insurable driving record required.
- Knowledge and understanding of mental health, alcohol and drug treatment and recovery, engagement of persons in treatment and recovery and an understanding of other healthcare systems, social service systems and the criminal justice system.
