Step into the high-performance world in our autism treatment center at Westchester. The Center for Autism and the Developing Brain (CADB), offers comprehensive healthcare to children and adults including providing Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Psychological services and Psychiatric consults. We’re looking for a transformational Social Worker like you to help drive its success.

Patient Registrar - Center for Autism and Developing Brain – Part Time

As a Patient Registrar you will greet and register patients in a tactful and courteous manner. You will verify all pertinent patient demographic and insurance information and ensure accurate documentation in patient records. You will be responsible for registering, scheduling and additional reception duties at our front desk. In this role you will schedule and maintain daily appointments taking into consideration availability of resources and set up clinic for efficient management of appointment flow. You will notify patient of financial obligations for outpatient services and schedule all follow up appointments as needed.

This is a part time position, 8:30 am to 2:00 pm day shift (with flexibility), located at NewYork-Presbyterian/Westchester Behavioral Health Center.

Required Criteria

  • High school diploma or GED

  • At least one year of clerical experience

  • Effective communication skills

Preferred Criteria

  • Completed some college coursework

  • Prior Customer Service Experience

  • Experience with EPIC
