ChristianaCare is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Patient Transport Trainer III to support safe, efficient patient transportation services throughout the hospital. In addition to transporting patients and delivering equipment and essential items, this role serves as a subject matter expert and trainer for new and existing team members. The Patient Transport Trainer plays a key role in ensuring adherence to department protocols, safety standards, customer service expectations, and patient care excellence.
The ideal candidate is an experienced healthcare support professional who demonstrates strong communication skills, leadership abilities, professionalism, and a commitment to exceptional patient service.
As a Patient Transport Trainer, you will have the opportunity to impact both patient care and team development. Your expertise will help ensure safe patient transport operations while mentoring team members to deliver exceptional service, compassion, and professionalism across the health system.
This position has a starting rate of $18.57 per hour, regardless of prior experience. After six months of continuous employment, the hourly rate will automatically increase to $21.74 per hour. After one year of continuous employment, the hourly rate will automatically increase to $22.79 per hour.This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
