Schedule: Shift - 10:30pm - 7am - Overnight - Every Other Weekend and Holiday
The Patient Transport Trainer serves as a key member of the Patient Transport team, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compassionate transportation of patients throughout the hospital while supporting department training and operational excellence. This role is responsible for transporting patients, training and evaluating new employees, serving as a subject matter expert on department policies and procedures, and assisting leadership with departmental education initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a patient-focused professional with strong communication, customer service, and leadership skills who is committed to safety, quality, and exceptional patient care.
As a Patient Transport Trainer, you will play a vital role in patient care and staff development by ensuring safe patient transportation practices while mentoring and guiding team members. This position has a starting rate of $18.57 per hour, regardless of prior experience. After six months of continuous employment, the hourly rate will automatically increase to $21.74 per hour. After one year of continuous employment, the hourly rate will automatically increase to $22.79 per hour.
This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
