Gaudenzia's Mission: Gaudenzia's Mission is to promote long-term recovery by providing comprehensive treatment and support to people with substance use disorder, co-occurring mental health disorders, and related conditions, regardless of individual circumstances.

Qualifications:

Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Valid Driver's License with good driving record.

-Ability to work effectively with clients and aid them in adjusting to their specific problems
-Basic knowledge of drug and alcohol addiction
-Ability to read, write and communicate effectively
-Ability to establish and maintain working relations with staff and other agencies, and the public
-Knowledge of particular skill area such as vehicle care and maintenance
-Knowledge of general area and ability to use GPS systems
-Ability to work various shifts
-Ability to work independently

Your responsibilities in this role may include:

  1. Work is performed in accordance with established regulations, policies and procedures, but employees are expected to exercise significant initiative and independent judgment in discharging duties
    2. Transport clients to appointments in agency vehicles, pick up prospective clients and transport clients among agency sites
    3. Coordinate regular maintenance of agency vehicle with Supervisor, including oil changes, inspections, and other maintenance
    4. Arrange for repair of body damage to agency vehicles
    5. Ensure the inside cleanliness of the vehicle using cleaning supplies before each pickup and after each drop off of our clients
    6. Ensure that vehicle equipment including dispatching hardware and software are functioning properly
    7. Work with facility staff to ensure that transportation needs are being met
    8. Perform written inspection of vehicles on a routine basis as determined by your supervisor
    9. Work with Risk Management Department and your Supervisor to report all accidents or incidents involving vehicles in your region
    10. Treat all clients and staff with dignity and respect
    11. When not engaged in client driving responsibilities, this individual will assist with routine duties around the facility as needed and at the direction of the Division Director
