Job Description

Patient (Consumer) Activation Manager, Obesity Therapy Area Development
Business Development & Customer Engagement (BD & CE)
Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

Imagine a role where you do more than manage campaigns; you shape how people experience health. As Patient Activation Manager, you will turn insights into action, build partnerships that matter, and create strategies that redefine care for those living with obesity. This is your chance to make change feel personal and powerful. If you are ready to drive unordinary change, apply now.

Your new role
As a Patient Activation Manager, you will:

  • Lead patient & consumer insights: design and deliver an insights generation plan to inform and own the patient strategy — including segmentation, patient journeys, and a clear vision for best-in-class patient experience across Novo Nordisk and partner ecosystems.
  • Build and run activation campaigns: develop and execute omnichannel disease-awareness and patient-activation campaigns in collaboration with public and private partners. Manage agencies and coordinate with APAC/HQ stakeholders to ensure timely, high-impact delivery.
  • Leverage strategic partnerships: identify, engage and manage cross-functional internal and external partnerships to improve patient journeys and integrate solutions into Novo Nordisk and partner digital and hybrid health ecosystems.
  • Define consumer go-to-market & launch readiness: design optimal engagement and care models for self-pay patients and build capabilities that deliver exceptional patient and consumer experiences for current products and upcoming launches.
  • Drive obesity therapy area development: work cross-functionally with marketing, commercial, medical, corporate affairs and market access to define and advance priorities for the obesity therapy area.

Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences, communications, marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in consumer marketing, preferably within life sciences (ethical, semi-ethical, OTC), omnichannel communications, strategic marketing, and business development.
  • Experience in digital health or digital patient engagement initiatives is an advantage.
  • Personal attributes such as being collaborative, a strategic thinker, innovative, results-oriented, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Fluency in Vietnamese and English.

Your new department
You will join the Business Development & Customer Engagement (BD&CE) team, a dynamic and collaborative group focused on innovation in customer experience and developing new channels to engage patients and consumers. Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the team is purpose-driven and works cross-functionally to make a meaningful impact on obesity care for millions of people. The atmosphere is fast-paced and innovative, offering growth opportunities and the chance to work at the forefront of healthcare and digital innovation.
