A Patient Care Technician provides direct and indirect patient care services under the supervision of licensed
nursing staff. The role supports the delivery of safe, timely, and patient-centered care by assisting with basic
clinical and supportive care needs in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment. The Patient Care Technician
practice in alignment with organizational values, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements.Essential Functions Provide direct patient care assistance, including support with activities of daily living, mobility, hygiene, safety, and comfort measures.Assist licensed nursing staff with delegated patient care activities according to established clinical protocols. Observe patient condition and promptly report changes or concerns to licensed nursing staff.Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to patient care activities.Support patient safety, infection prevention, and environmental cleanliness standards.Respond appropriately to emergency situations and follow escalation procedures.Prioritize assigned tasks and utilize resources effectively in a high-acuity clinical environment.
