Position Purpose
Functions as a member of the health care team under the direction of the RN. Utilizing a Patient Focused Care approach, provides sitting services to a specific group of patients within the Trinity Health System.
Shifts Available:7:00 am – 7:00 pm, 7:00 pm – 7:00 am
Status available:Full-time, Part-time, Contingent/PRN
Every Other Weekend and 3 Holidays per yearrequiredfor Full-time and Part-time team members.
Required Qualifications:
Education
High school diploma or GED.
Whatyou willdo:
Provides observation following theguidelines asdescribed during department specific orientation. Must ensure they are activelyparticipatingin adistraction freeenvironment.
Reports patient care incidents and changes in the patient's condition to the RN ina timelyfashion
Provides patient care that reflects respect for patient's rights, dignity, values, culture preferences, andexpressedneeds and attention to providing comfort, relieving pain, and alleviating anxiety
To ensuresafepatient care experience,incumbentmustremain withpatient until hand-off occurs.
