Evening ShiftWe are recruiting for a pharmacist to join the Mount Carmel St. Ann's Pharmacy team with an emphasis on coverage of the Intensive Care Unit and Internal Medicine floors, as well as support our central pharmacy operations. This pharmacist will need to be a residency preceptor, or become preceptor certified in the first 6 months, and will have opportunity to become involved in residency program leadership. This position will be a valuable member of the multidisciplinary teams operating in an innovative care setting to provide exceptional patient care. The position will be rotating with an emphasis on evening coverage. This pharmacist will serve as the medication expert in a variety of settings, interacting with physicians, nurses, medical residents, and other care team members daily. This position will also have the opportunity to contribute to the learning of Pharmacy Interns, APPE students, and medical residents.
Ideal candidates will have a passion for teaching, precepting, patient care, and process improvement. Experience in Internal Medicine and/or Critical Care clinical pharmacy practice, completion of PGY1 residency or 3 years of hospital practice preferred. This is an evening shift position.
